'We are still friends,so what if we are out of touch.'
A very positive conversation with a good friend brings this smile on my face :)
..........................................................................
Have u ever noticed how some people manage to make you feel so positive just by the use of right words.Or should i say by the Avoidance of certain kind of language that makes you feel negative. It comes with only efforts.I would like to have such a way of talking.
I like to be around positive people.Positivism moves in concentric circles,it wont hit you directly, you feel it coming till it completely surrounds you.So try dropping the use of "Donts" and "buts".Use more of positive words in your conversations. It will slowly and surely make a difference in your attitude.
Keep it up friend!! ;)

Go play
13 hours of college.Add to it 4 hours of travelling. That was my Tuesday like. :)
Day started at 5.I never check what time i am sleeping :P
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Its a new day.I have a große(big in german) challenge before me of making a print ad for advertising project.ON A SHOE BRAND.Lets see what it turns out to be.I am working with such a varied mix of people.
Some are the planners of the nation, schade!!(unfortunately)they have to work for such a small project. They want to derive creativity through a planned procedure. They want to schedule whatever we are going to do,even if it is a fifteen minute activity.I am talking about an engineer. Then there are square pegs in round holes who get such great ideas but have no suggestions as to how to execute them.
Thankfully i believe and i have seen that all these random thinking processes by people do help in making a decision finally. As they say there is an order in chaos.Thats what excites me the most. Its less of a challenge, because we never thought as a child that Jumble looks "incomplete",it always used to be work-in-progress ;) So sippa hot Kafe(coffee) und Mach kein Sorgen!(dont worry) :D

Mumbai
I love Mumbai,it throws a lot of challenges at me everyday. What i like about this place is that people try to squeeze as much of your time, space and mind as possible. It's a city where people expect a lot from you;yeah even strangers!!Some of my outstation friends complain that the people here are heartless. But i guess we all are doing a lot of things to facilitate each other in our own little ways. You cant expect someone to show his/her heart when he/she is standing on one foot in a crowded train. The same woman who stepped on your foot and dint care to say a sorry in the morning might be seen offering her seat to a girl much younger than her after sitting through half of her journey.
My examples might revolve a lot around Railways because what the heck,i travel 3 hours per day by train, meaning 4 days in a month i spend in train.Believe me i have seen crazy fights happening out of nothing in the mornings.I dont know whether it is because of the logic that people become softer by heart in evenings,i have seen them doing unexpected unspoken favours to others.Like smiling at someone(ok that was excess of sarcasm)..but believe me strangers become friends so easily. Then there will be people who have no relation with you whatsoever, but from one look at you they decide you had a bad day and offer you a seat. This can happen in no other city but mumbai.
There is nothing we do because our heart says so,its because we get into other person's shoes only when possible or convinient to us(and thats the best thing one can do for other in this mad city).
Selfish? Naah.
Self-centered? Yes.You got to be if you want to survive here.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Production Management Test i told you about in last blog was good.
I am able to take time off my schedule to blog, that must be an indicator that my life is turning less hectic.Cheers to that!! :D

TEst !!!
Tomorrow is my Production Management Mid term test.We were told by our professor today that anyoneone using a supplementary' will be NEGATIVELY marked to which i couldnt resist clapping,so did a lot of other people in my class. :D
I really like the pattern set by him.Write to the point,no bullshit no big explainations...
Reminded me of my 10th std boards, when i understood only one funda of writing to the point answers. We never had "Short notes" to deal with like State Board. What i understood after going to State board and almost flunking in my Eco test that "Short notes" do not mean short;on the contrary, you are given marks on the basis of length of your answers.
Although its an open book examination, our dear prof in his very charismatic style of speaking, has made it clear that we will get screwed by the paper he has already set.So lets see what we have on our desks at 10am tomorrow.Passing is not a goal anymore for anyone of us.I just wish i am able to attempt all questions because i have for a change studied the subject!! :)
Tell you about it tomorrow.Bis dann,Tchuess!(Till then,goodbye)

Just what i needed :)
It was saturday evening around 4:30.After 6 hours of stats and research methodolgy,i bunk my accounts lecture.I walk up to Marine drive alone while the dark clouds are hanging there, they look so dense and so heavy. There is a lot of crowd at Marine Drive. Its just some fresh air i need. And maybe with the help of it,some clarity of thought will come.Last few months have been an eye opener;i had enough opportunities to realise that i dont think too clearly about most of the things.I have been taking the privelege of being an ambiguous person for too long and how i just manage to express myself!
One day you come to know that most of the times you were not expressing your thoughts too well. All this while, you thought you are expressing, but others dont think so.You just managed;maybe because you were around with the same set of people always who know you too well to misunderstand you.Its good that atleast i know what is happening. What i do with this knowledge is of second importance.(Ofcourse i will do something about it..)
So i spend some 40-50 minutes sitting there-reading; looking at the sea, clouds, birds, rocks.I suddenly felt like a child again. When i was a kid the best thing i liked doing was "nothing".I used to do a lot of it then.Gazing at far off objects.lying on grass, sitting on swings...Thinking of it now,it used to be a kind of meditation-Spending time not doing anything and more importantly not feeling guilty about it.
That makes you feel so light. Its like you are the non-bottleneck machine who doesnt need to be on roll all the time just to utilise your full capacity.
Excuse me for that example,i have been reading Goal by Goldratt.
I have been so hungry lately.Perhaps because i take short meals and get hungry again in couple of hours. So from Marine Drive,i went to Barista and ordered stuff and continued reading.I ate my heartful, read my mindful, paid the bill and walked out.Along the footpath at the bookseller,as a matter of habit,my eyes happened to gaze upon the titles. There it was "Stay hungry, stay foolish."I laughed in my mind thinking its so apt for me.Except for the other meaning of "hungry".
It was a nice start for my weekend.I hope whatever time i have,i make good use of it,even if it means doing nothing ;)I had my 'things to do' next week planned at Barista, hope i manage to do it all,"well".Idea is to feel good about what i do.
I headed for home.It was a fine evening :) just what i needed!

What have you learnt today?
One of my professors raised an interesting question one day.Ever wondered what is the difference between "study" and "learning" processes? Its one word answer."Application".
So however well your teacher has managed to teach you a concept, you have only been sucessful enough to 'study' it,with best examples if you want to add.
You can be sure that you know it or have learnt it only when you are able to apply it.
I am yet to learn a lot of things. :)

Who am i?
When i had nothing more to lose i was given everything,
when i ceased to be who i am i found myself,
when i experienced humilation and yet kept on walking,
i understood that i was free to choose my destiny"
Wonderful lines from Eleven Minutes,Paulo Coelho.
